JD for Data AnalystKey Responsibilities:Data Annotation: Oversee and manage the data annotation process, ensuring that datasets are accurately labelled and formatted for machine learning, AI, and product development projects. Provide necessary annotations for text, images, videos and product information. Ensure consistency and quality control of labelled data following project guidelines. Maintain detailed documentation of annotation processes and dataset versions.Productivity: Meet productivity and accuracy targets set by the team. Adapt to new tools and annotation platforms as required.Data Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data used for reporting, analysis, and AI/ML model training. Perform regular data validation and cleansing tasks.Tool Proficiency: Use advanced Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to analyse and present data. Experience with data annotation tools and platforms is a plus.Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyse large datasets from e-commerce platforms (e.g., sales, user behaviour, inventory) to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. Create regular reports and dashboards to support business.E-commerce Analytics: Provide in-depth analysis of customer behaviour, sales trends, product performance to support decision-making and improve business strategies.Collaboration: Work with data scientists and machine learning engineers to refine annotation strategies. Review and validate annotations done by AI models and provide feedback. Identify and escalate ambiguous or unclear data for further clarification.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.2 to 4 Years of Experience as a Data Analyst/ML analyst with a focus on e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, Magento) and e-commerce-related analytics.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow annotation guidelines precisely.Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with different teams.Proficiency with annotation tools such as Labelbox, LabelStudio, CVAT, or similar platforms.Preferred Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.Solid understanding of key e-commerce metrics (conversion rate, customer lifetime value, Basket size and cart abandonment, etc.)Preferred Skills:Experience with machine learning or AI projects, particularly involving data annotation.Familiarity with data management platforms or data warehouses (e.g., Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift).Knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).Experience in Python or R for advanced analytics and automation.Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
