Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and driven Mid-Level Golang Engineer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in software development and a strong understanding of backend systems. You will play a key role in building and maintaining robust, high-performance applications and APIs that integrate with enterprise systems and support third-party consumption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Golang.
  • Build and optimize APIs for third-party consumption while adhering to OpenAPIspecifications.
  • Work with PostgreSQL databases using pqx, Jet, or equivalent connectors to create efficient and scalable solutions. 
  • Develop web applications using frameworks such as Gin, Chi, Echo, or equivalent web frameworks.
  • Collaborate with enterprise partners and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions. 
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure the codebase is maintainable, scalable, and adheres to best practices for software development.Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and debug applications. 
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in backend development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of experience in software development with a focus on Golang.
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL and experience with pqx, Jet, or similar PostgreSQL connectors.
  • Hands-on experience with web frameworks such as Gin, Chi, Echo, or equivalents.
  • Experience building APIs for third-party consumption and a strong understanding of OpenAPI specifications.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Trello, or equivalent.
  • Experience working with enterprise partners and understanding their requirements.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and backend system architecture. Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Minimum CEFR B2 english skills or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization and orchestration tools. 
  • Experience with Frontend frameworks (React preferred) 
  • Experience with Agentic Coding Agents Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. 
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. 
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent. 
  • Understanding of security best practices in API development.
