Senior Backend Developer

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with strong C# and .NET skills to join our development team. In this role, you'll work on building and maintaining scalable, high-performance microservices that power our racing and sports betting platforms.

Required skills and experience:

• Proficient in C# and .NET framework
• Strong experience with database development (SQL)
• Advanced debugging methodologies
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing
• Strong REST API development skills
• Experience implementing event-driven architecture
• Ability to work in an agile development environment

Bonus qualification:

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB and Cosmos DB)
• Experience with microservices architecture, Service Fabric and Kubernetes
• Docker containerization knowledge
• Azure cloud services experience
• Domain knowledge in racing and sports betting systems

• Contributions to open source community
• StackOverflow reputation of 500+ points
• Experience with AI tools

In this role you will:

• Join our scrum meetings
• Develop microservices on Service Fabric and Kubernetes using Docker
• Work on Azure functions development
• Implement and maintain Cosmos DB and SQL databases
• Build console and Windows service applications
• Write extensive C# code with comprehensive unit tests
• Participate in code reviews
