The selected candidate will play a vital role in the planning, analysis, and design of structures and structural systems using wood, masonry, steel, and concrete. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and oversee the construction of structural systems for various projects.
- Perform detailed analysis of structural components to ensure compliance with safety, durability, and regulatory standards.
- Utilize engineering software and tools to model and design structural systems.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop efficient and cost-effective designs.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and best practices in structural engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering or related field (required).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license with Structural Discipline (required).
- Proven experience in the design of wood, masonry, steel, and concrete structures.
- Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
