Our client is looking for a responsible Production Technician is a Temp to hire position with our key manufacturing client. To be considered for this role, you will need a minimum of 1 years manufacturing and High school graduate or equivalent.
Principle Duties
- Cleaning all blending equipment.
- Removing film rolls from winder, labelling and packaging rolls and preparing skids for shipping.
- Entering production-related data into the manufacturing database.
- Assisting in start-up and changeovers of blown-film line.
- Assisting in the cleaning and assembling of dies and air rings.
- Performing and recording preventative maintenance as scheduled.
- Performing in-process inspections visually and/or utilizing measuring tools.
- Reporting non-conformances to the Operators and working with them to resolve the cause(s) of the defect(s).
- Communicating and cooperating with supervisors and coworkers.
- Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe environment around all work areas and equipment.
- Safely operating all manufacturing machinery and equipment, inspection tools and material handling equipment; and reporting any issues to supervisors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
- Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
