CNC Swiss

Position: CNC Swiss Machinist
Shift: 1st | Hours: 7AM - 3:30PM
Type: Full-Time | Mode: Direct Placement
Pay Scale: $/hr (Negotiable) | Industry: Manufacturing

Our Client is seeking a CNC Swiss Machinist. To be considered for this position, applicants will need a minimum of 10+ years of experience in the field.

Job Responsibilities:

• Machine Setup: Perform machine setups by loading raw materials, selecting and installing appropriate tooling, and making necessary programming adjustments on CNC Swiss machines.

• Operation: Operate CNC Swiss machines to produce precision machined metal and plastic parts according to blueprints, specifications, and customer requirements. Monitor machine operations, ensuring optimal performance, and make adjustments as necessary.

• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks using precision measuring instruments (such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges) to verify part dimensions and tolerances. Identify and address any deviations from specifications

• Must be able to setup, optimize feed & speeds, operate and troubleshoot

• Familiarity with Mitsubishi & Fanuc controls

• Experience independently programming CNC Swiss Machines

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience operating CNC Swiss machines.

• Proficient in setup, feed and speed optimization, troubleshooting, and machine operation.

• Familiarity with Mitsubishi and Fanuc controls is required.

• Experience in programming CNC Swiss machines is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Prior experience working with materials like Inconel and A-286 is a plus.

• Skilled in using standard gauges, performing inspections, and documenting results.

• Demonstrated ability to select, set, and change tools effectively.

• Background in manufacturing aerospace threaded components or other close-tolerance parts is preferred.
