About the job Director of Managed Services
BestLogic Staffing is recruiting for a Director of Managed Services Operations on behalf of our client, a leader in IT services and staffing. Based in the Hartford office, this role focuses on new business development, operational excellence, and refining the recruiting process. The Director will spearhead efforts to secure new prospects, enhance the IT/SOW service delivery model, and support the growth of the IT services and staffing business segment.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute an annual plan for the Hartford office to meet targets within a defined multi-state territory. Expand service delivery beyond the Northeast into other Fortune 1000 organizations.
- Pipeline Development: Support sales executives in building a robust pipeline through traditional prospecting methods (cold calling, email, LinkedIn) and cultivating partnerships within a diverse ecosystem to drive referrals and business development.
- Opportunity Qualification: Leverage a deep understanding of target markets and key decision-making personas to quickly qualify or disqualify opportunities.
- Recruiting and Staffing Optimization: Refine and execute staffing and recruiting processes for both existing and new clients to ensure operational efficiency and quality service delivery.
- Tools and Systems Management: Identify and manage tools and systems that streamline the recruiting process within IT, maximizing efficiency and scalability.
- Sales Metrics Achievement: Ensure sales executives meet quota targets through effective sales activity management.
- Administrative Oversight: Monitor and ensure timely completion of administrative tasks by the sales team.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent education and/or related work experience.
- Experience:
- 10+ years in IT services, staffing, and delivery.
- Experience managing within the Fortune 500 supply chain.
- Proven aerospace and network experience is a plus.
