Quality Inspector

Position: Quality Inspector Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00 am -3:30 Type: Full-Time Mode: Temp Industry: Manufacturing Pay: $18-22hr

Our client is looking for a responsible Quality Inspector. This is a contract-to-position with our top manufacturing client.

• Inspects and approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
• Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to the production supervisor.
• Approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs summarize re-work and waste, and inputs data into a quality database.
• Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements, and calling for repairs.
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
• Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or GED, prefer Associates degree in a technology/science-based field Require 1 year of experience in an Inspection environment.
