Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and train staff accountants and interns
• Review work for accuracy, ensuring quality and completeness
• Manage multiple client engagements and projects independently
• Utilize advanced knowledge of accounting and tax principles
• Prepare and review accounting and tax deliverables
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty
• Conduct tax and accounting research and draft detailed memoranda
• Identify opportunities to expand client engagements and services
• Ensure timely and accurate client billing
• Uphold the companys mission, vision, and core values
• Provide regular performance feedback and development opportunities to team members
• Delegate tasks effectively and focus on high-level responsibilities
• Demonstrate initiative, creativity, and problem-solving abilities
• Drive process improvements for tax and accounting operations
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in accounting (CPA or advanced degree preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting and tax experience in public accounting
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage workload effectively
• Proficiency in MS Office, tax compliance and research tools, QuickBooks, and trial balance systems
