Job Title: HVAC Controls technician
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Work Hours: 7:00AM to 3:30PM, Monday thru Friday
Location: Connecticut & Massachusetts
Employment Type: Permanent Overtime: Occasional
Position Requirements
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional with experience in electrical work and HVAC controls. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

Electrical Installation & Maintenance: Reading blueprints, running conduit, wiring devices, troubleshooting, and performing quality control testing.

Blueprint & Code Interpretation: Reading and interpreting mechanical, architectural, and electrical drawings and code specifications to determine wiring layouts.

Troubleshooting & Repairs: Conducting tests, isolating issues, replacing damaged wiring sections, laying conduit, and performing necessary repairs.

Safety Compliance: Adhering to all applicable safety regulations and codes in commercial, industrial, and residential settings. Maintaining compliance with PPE usage and best safety practices.
Qualifications:

Experience in HVAC controls.

Valid Electrical Masters License or E-2 Journeyman License.

Valid Drivers License.

State of Connecticut OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) preferred but not required.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.

High level of integrity, professionalism, and excellent customer service skills.
