About the job Clinical Director / Adult Medicine

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited medical school and possess the following qualifications:

  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care efficiently.
  • Experience and Comfort with providing care to underserved populations with complex healthcare needs.
  • Relevant Business Experience, particularly in a large health center or private practice setting, serving in a leadership role such as Director or Associate Director.
  • Experience with Recruitment, Onboarding, Retention, and Discipline of clinical providers and staff.
  • Familiarity with Compliance Issues related to specific areas of clinical expertise.
  • Experience Supervising Advanced Practitioners (APRNs, PAs).
  • Demonstrated Leadership in developing and participating in strategic department goals and direction.
  • Experience Nurturing a Culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and collaboration.
  • Quality Focus, including understanding of ongoing professional practice evaluation.
  • Superior Communication Skills with the ability to build and maintain positive, productive relationships with clinical and administrative staff, patients, and external partners.
  • Aptitude for Data Collection and Analysis, with comfort in making defensible, evidence-based decisions.
  • Experience Contributing to Enterprise-Level Projects, adding value across the organization.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Health Record Systems.
  • Strong Initiative, Judgment, and Discretion in helping the organization achieve its objectives.
  • Problem-Solving and Accountability: A resourceful attitude with the ability to take ownership of challenges.
  • Alignment with the organizational mission, demonstrating Core Values and Permission to Play Values.
