Position: Physician Assistant
Shift: 1st Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Type: Full-Time
Mode: Direct Placement Pay: $50hr - $75hr (Dependent on experience)
Our client is looking for a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant. This is a Direct Placement position with our key healthcare client. To be considered for this role, you will need 2-5 years of experience as a Physician Assistant in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
- Prescribe medications and provide treatment for acute and chronic conditions.
- Assist in surgical procedures and provide post-operative care as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Educate patients on preventive care, treatment plans, and health maintenance.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Ensure adherence to all medical laws, guidelines, and ethical standards.
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) or related field.
- Active Physician Assistant license in the state of practice.
- National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
