Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and efficient clinical care to adult patients.
- Lead department operations in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer, Nurse Manager, and Practice Manager.
- Drive continuous improvement in provider workflows, patient satisfaction, and overall operational performance.
- Recruit, onboard, mentor, and retain clinical providers and staff.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
- Analyze data to inform evidence-based decision-making and optimize clinical outcomes.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and ongoing improvement within the department.
Qualifications
- Board Certification: Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Medical License: Active physician license in Connecticut (preferred).
- Experience: Providing care to underserved populations with complex health needs.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams, even with limited administrative experience.
- Supervision: Experience supervising advanced practitioners (APRNs, PAs) preferred.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with EHR systems and data-driven decision-making.
