Responsibilities
- Emergency Care:
- Provide first aid, initial evaluations, and emergency medical treatment for work-related injuries or illnesses.
- Health Assessments:
- Conduct regular health assessments, screenings, and checks to monitor employees' well-being and identify potential health risks.
- Treatment & Referrals:
- Administer medications, dress wounds, and treat minor illnesses or injuries.
- Refer employees to appropriate healthcare providers or facilities when necessary.
- Health Promotion:
- Develop and implement wellness programs, health campaigns, and educational seminars on topics like nutrition, stress management, and disease prevention.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, documenting treatments, incidents, and follow-up care.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with HR and management to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Participate in safety committees and provide guidance on health-related policies.
- First Aid Training:
- Conduct regular first aid training sessions to ensure employees are prepared to handle medical emergencies.
- Supply Management:
- Manage and maintain medical supply inventory to ensure availability during emergencies.
Requirements
- Education & Licensing:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Valid nursing license and registration.
- Experience:
- Proven experience as a nurse, preferably in an occupational health or corporate setting.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergencies.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills for record-keeping purposes.
- Certifications:
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid.
