Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Dump Truck Driver to transport loose materials, such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, and soil, between locations. The ideal candidate has previous experience driving dump trucks in construction or similar settings, a strong understanding of road safety protocols, and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials to and from job sites, adhering to schedule requirements.
• Load and unload loose materials as directed, using appropriate dumping techniques to control placement.
• Inspect trucks and conduct pre-trip and post-trip checks to ensure vehicle safety and readiness.
• Follow designated routes, navigate construction sites carefully, and comply with all traffic regulations.
• Monitor material weights to ensure load capacity does not exceed legal or equipment limits.
• Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly.
• Adhere to company safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Keep accurate logs and records of trips, materials, and vehicle inspections.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid commercial drivers license (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements for dump trucks.
• Proven experience operating dump trucks in a construction, mining, or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols, load capacities, and weight limits.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Good physical condition, with the ability to sit for long periods and perform manual labor when needed.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to outdoor weather, dust, noise, and heavy machinery.
• Work hours may vary depending on project requirements, with occasional weekend or overtime hours.
