Job Description:

  • Ensure that all procurement activities are within the allocated budget and help identify cost-saving measures.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing, payment terms, and contracts, without compromising on quality.
  • Perform regular cost-benefit analyses to determine the most cost-efficient suppliers and methods of procurement.
  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams to forecast future purchasing needs and budget allocation based on sales trends, production schedules, and market conditions.
  • Ensure that all purchases comply with the organizations financial policies and audit requirements. Maintain accurate financial records of all purchasing transactions.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers that meet operational needs and ensure on-time delivery of goods and services.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure stock availability for ongoing operations while avoiding overstocking and obsolescence.Proactively identify risks in the supply chain, such as supplier shortages or price volatility, and develop contingency plans.
  • Ensure all supplier agreements and contracts are current, properly documented, and adhere to company policies.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and forecast spending.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and contract management skills.
  • Ability to manage procurement activities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and decision-making skills for evaluating cost-saving opportunities.
