Key Responsibilities:

1. Payroll Processing:

  • Process monthly payroll for employees in compliance with Philippine labor laws.
  • Ensure accurate calculations of wages, tax withholdings, and company contributions.
  • Handle payroll discrepancies and irregularities, providing timely and clear resolutions.

2. Compliance and Reporting:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes affecting payroll procedures and requirements.
  • Prepare and submit payroll-related documents such as tax forms and government-mandated contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG).
  • Generate periodic payroll reports for managements review.

3. Employee Queries:

  • Serve as the point of contact for employee payroll queries.
  • Provide assistance in explaining pay slips and deductions to employees.
  • Assist in new employee onboarding by explaining the payroll-related procedures of the company.

4. Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records and employee files.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of all payroll files.

5. Collaboration and Improvement:

  • Collaborate with the Finance and Accounting department of the Euroasia Group to ensure alignment between payroll and other HR processes.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to the payroll process to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably within a staffing or recruitment agency setting.
  • Proficient in payroll software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • In-depth understanding of the Philippine payroll and taxation system.
  • Excellent numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php45,000.00 per month

Supplemental Pay:

  • 13th month salary
  • Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Mandaluyong: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
