QUALIFICATION INFORMATION
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.
- With 2 yrs. experience in inventory management or related position.
- Proficient knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Major Functions
1. Warehousing Operation
- Oversees warehouse operation and distribute task to project StockClerk and review job output, evaluate and rate performance of project Stock clerk.
- Trains, motivates, and guides project StockClerk on site warehousing procedure and Asset Inventory program to improved performance.
- Manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels.
- Conducts regular audits of warehouse and inventory.
- Monitors of all deliveries in accordance to Incoming Inspection and Receiving of materials, tools and equipment at site as stated in Site Warehousing Procedure.
- Inspects project inventories to ensure arrangement and stacking is in accordance to Storage of Materials, Tools and Equipment as stated in Site Warehousing Procedure.
- Inspects and monitors issued light equipment deployed to project site in accordance to policy guidelines on issuance, transfer of light equipment in a horizontal project and to submit report for any lapses and recommend action to project management for review and evaluation to prevent losses.
- Submits reportorial requirement to concern department for any incidental issues pertaining to inventories that needs resolution or decision by management.
- Recommends better warehousing set-up and logistics set-up that simplify processes without sacrificing control.
2. Inventory Management
- Monitors cycle inventory count result and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Monitors slow moving stock and excess inventories and recommend transfer or backload to other projects/central bodega in need.
- Monitors stock in transit for receipt from other projects and stock in transit issued to other projects to ensure timely confirmation of stock transfer.
- Inspects to ensure that all asset inventories at the project site is tagged with property number for proper accounting and monitoring.
3. Environment, Health & Safety
- Monitors compliance to Environmental Work Instruction on Receiving, Storage and Handling of Chemicals as well as Disposal of Hazardous Waste
- Maintains Housekeeping of the warehouse and take responsibility for the security of the warehouse and stock.
