The Role

We are looking for a commercially savvy Ecommerce Sales and Merchandising Manager to join our growing Online team.

This is a high-impact role for a results-focused digital retailer with a strong eye for trading opportunities and a passion for delivering a seamless customer journey. You will be responsible for driving online sales performance, optimising on-site merchandising, and leading a growing team to deliver our e-commerce strategy across multiple digital touchpoints.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders across Digital Experience, marketing, planning, and product to ensure stock, promotions, and content are aligned and that every online visit converts into an exceptional experience.

About You

You are a natural trader with an entrepreneurial mindset someone who thrives on data, instinct, and delivering commercial results. Youve got a solid track record in online sales and merchandising understand what makes customers click and know how to turn traffic into revenue.

You are also a collaborative leader with strong stakeholder skills, able to bring cross-functional teams together to execute effectively and at pace.

Your Day Will Consist Of:

  • Owning and delivering the online trading strategy to meet revenue and margin targets
  • Leading the eCommerce team and overseeing day-to-day operations of the website
  • Driving performance through smart on-site merchandising and optimisation of the customer journey
  • Partnering with Digital Experience, Product, Planning and Logistics teams to ensure the online channel has the right stock, at the right time
  • Using analytics to monitor trends, customer behaviour and performance metrics
  • Collaborating with Marketing, CRM and Digital Marketing teams to maximise campaign effectiveness
  • Identifying opportunities to test, scale and grow our digital footprint
  • Championing accuracy in product data, content and digital assets
  • Supporting continuous improvement through leadership, development, and a growth mindset

As Our Ecommerce Sales and Merchandising Manager, You Will Have:

  • 5+ years' experience in a retail-focused eCommerce, digital merchandising or trading role
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver sales and conversion growth through online trading
  • Strong analytical mindset and confidence using tools like Google Analytics
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify Plus, Salesforce, Magento, or SAP Commerce Cloud
  • Understanding of SEO and CRO best practices
  • Strong stakeholder collaboration skills, especially with Buying, Planning and Marketing teams
  • Experience managing people and leading high-performance teams
  • A relevant degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or similar
  • A commercial mindset, a love for retail, and a hands-on approach to getting things done
