IT Operations Manager

The Role

We are seeking a technically grounded, delivery-focused IT Operations Manager to own the full technical and operational stack and create our technology modernisation roadmap. This will be a career-defining opportunity for someone with deep technical roots and a commercial mindset and enjoys staying hands-on and close to the technology when it counts.

We are looking for someone who thrives in technology, has the commercial mindset to focus on business outcomes, and wants to shape a more modern, responsive operations function from the inside out and lead a high performing team through change.

Your Day Will Consist Of:

• In this role, you will combine system oversight, change delivery, and people leadership to ensure our core operations run smoothly while implementing and adopting new technology.
• Lead the technical evolution of our core infrastructure, modernisation of tools and practices, and ensure business users experience technology that is fast, simple, and dependable.
• Take ownership of pain points, propose value-led changes, and drive your team and vendors to deliver them with urgency.

As Our IT Operations Manager, You Will Have:

• Demonstrated experience developing technical roadmaps for system, process, and tooling modernisation
• 5+ years within senior technical engineer roles with ownership of Fortinet SD WAN, Azure & M365.
• Demonstrate experience in identifying & leading transformation & value add implementations. Including, impact statement, technical change plans, costs analysis, ROI, etc
• An innovation approach to solutions by presenting original and imaginative ideas
• Strong knowledge of data analysis, & business operations.
• Experience in cost control & budget creation and management.
• A strong strategic and business mindset.
• Extensive organizational and leadership skills
• Experience in customer focused roles
• Effective time management & prioritisation skills including a structured approach to problem solving, calm under pressure.
