Your Day as an Assistant Buyer

Youll work closely with the Buyer to support the end-to-end product lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Buyer with day-to-day tasks and decision making
• Analysing business opportunities and identifying growth areas
• Managing supplier communication and building strong relationships
• Preparing and running accurate reports as required
• Coordinating fit sessions and managing samples
• Conducting comp shop analysis to understand market trends
• Assisting with storyboards and product development stages
• Completing advertising briefs
• Preparing financial figures and supporting range reviews

What Were Looking For

Youll thrive in this role if you bring:

• Proven experience in a similar role within retail
• Previous experience with apparel
• Strong administration skills and attention to detail
• Product development experience (highly regarded)
• A balance of product passion and commercial thinking
• Confidence communicating across all levels
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
• Strong initiative and a willingness to contribute to the team
• A flexible, down-to-earth and customer-focused approach
• A resourceful, adaptable mindset with a drive for results
