The Role

As our HR Generalist, you'll play a key role in delivering practical, people-focused HR solutions across the full employee lifecycle. You'll work closely with leaders and team members across the business, providing guidance on employee relations, performance, recruitment, engagement, compliance, and culture initiatives.

No two days are the same. You'll be part coach, part problem-solver, part advisor, and a trusted partner who helps bring our people strategy to life.

What You'll Be Doing

Employee Relations & Advisory

• Provide timely HR advice and support to leaders and team members
• Partner with managers on performance management, disciplinary matters, and workplace investigations
• Support conflict resolution and employee relations processes with a fair and balanced approach
• Assist with policy interpretation and compliance with employment legislation

HR Operations & Compliance

• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
• Support policy reviews and updates in line with legislative changes and best practice
• Assist with workforce reporting, HR metrics, and people insights
• Ensure HR processes are delivered efficiently, consistently, and with a high level of confidentiality

Projects & Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to HR projects and organisational initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the employee experience
• Support the implementation of new people programs and systems

What You'll Bring

• Experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within retail, customer-facing, or fast-paced environments
• Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice
• Confidence building relationships and partnering with leaders at all levels
• Sound judgement and the ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and genuine passion for helping people succeed
• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline are highly regarded
