Your day as a Inventory and Stocktake Coordinator:

Stocktake Planning and Scheduling:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive stocktake schedules that align with business needs.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure stocktakes are planned and executed timely.
  • Communicate stocktake schedules and requirements to all relevant stakeholders.

Stocktake Execution:

  • Oversee the execution of stocktakes, ensuring adherence to planned schedules.
  • Monitor stocktake processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
  • Address any issues or discrepancies that arise during stocktakes promptly.

Data Analysis and Finalization:

  • Analyze stocktake data for accuracy and integrity, identifying any discrepancies.
  • Finalize stocktake results within set timeframes.
  • Generate detailed reports on stocktake findings and present them to senior management.

Inventory Control and Training:

  • Assist stores with inventory queries, providing accurate and timely responses.
  • Provide training to store staff on inventory management and stocktake procedures.
  • Ensure all inventory data is updated accurately and promptly in the system.

Risk Management and Process Improvement:

  • Analyze inventory data to identify deficiencies in controls and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with the Risk and Audit team to implement best practices in inventory management.
  • Support general inventory-related processes and provide assistance as needed.

Some things we are looking for in a Stocktake Coordinator:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management, stocktake coordination, or a related role.
  • Experience in a retail or supply chain environment is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level).
  • Competency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and compile detailed reports.
  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals.
  • Sound independent judgment and decision-making abilities.
