The company

Our client is an innovative SaaS business that aims at revolutionizing parking payment. They are doing so by creating a fully automated system that detects when drivers enter and exit enabled car parks and then automatically bills them for their length of stay. Put simply, your car is now your payment card.

What you will do

Managing a team, you will take full ownership of the Operations function across the business. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Oversight of physical car park infrastructure installation and maintenance teams and processes, incl. effective alignment across all internal and external stakeholders
  • Responsibility for the Technical Service desk team, aiming for highest B2B and B2C customer satisfaction standards
  • Responsibility for Legal Compliance, incl. all safe practices are adhered to and all necessary processes and rules are followed for effective, efficient, legal and safe car park operations
  • Duty of aiming continuous improvement of the operation; this includes taking existing data, interpreting it and driving change throughout the business by working with the CEO and other key stakeholders
  • Training, managing and upscaling the Operations team in line with ambitious company growth plans

Who you are

You are a senior Operations Leader that is comfortable with both state-of-the-art tech and Team Management, and you want to be part of a meaningful pursuit to improve peoples' day-to-day. Also, you are:

  • Communicative & confident: You will need to be a strong leader, able to communicate clearly and compellingly at all levels of the company and make important decisions confidently
  • Organised & focused: You have strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and you uphold deadlines no matter the cost
  • Tech-savvy & hands-on: You have an affinity for technical setups and don't mind doing whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Proactive & automation-minded: You thrive in a dynamic environment and naturally come up with improvements for existing processes

What you have & What you've done

  • You have significant experience in a field operations role, ideally involving physical assets
    • Experience with civil / electrical engineering operations is a plus
    • Experience in the parking sector is a plus
  • You have experience leading and growing cross-functional teams
  • You have experience in Legal and Compliance-related processes
    • Experience in the customer service sector is a plus
