Role Outline:

  • The QA Lead, a crucial member of the tech team, reports to both the Head of QA and the Head of Engineering. 
  • This role involves a close partnership with software development teams, focusing on enhancing and executing quality assurance strategies tailored to specific areas such as performance, mobile app, or web platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • You will act as a consultative AQA lead for a cluster of 20-30 engineers.
  • You will support the engineers in building out their test suite for their code. The remit goes beyond writing test scripts and involves supporting other engineers in building their test suite
  • Lead and manage quality assurance activities within assigned domains.
  • Collaborate effectively with software engineering teams to develop comprehensive test plans and strategies.
  • Implement and maintain QA best practices and standards, adapting to evolving project needs.

Experience Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in leading QA initiatives and strategy development.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and a solid understanding of programming principles.
  • Hands-on experience with modern testing frameworks like Playwright and Cypress.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and team development.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Salary Range:

  • The position offers a competitive salary, ranging from approximately 80,000 to 95,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
