Job Description
Provide Maintenance support to multiple sites. Provide rotating and fixed equipment, technical guidance and support. Assist sites as needed on mechanical related failures, turbomachinery issues, reliability improvements, capital projects, and assistance during turnarounds.
What will be expected of you?
- Provide technical guidance to all sites on rotating and fixed equipment related matters.
- Support all sites with mechanical related failures, turbomachinery issues, reliability improvements, capital projects, and assistance during turnarounds.
- Work with procurement group on mechanical services and equipment initiatives
- Support site efforts to continually improve the long-term equipment availability and performance of rotating and fixed assets.
- Follow instructions and perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
- Ensure that the activities are carried out to comply with the integrated management system, as applicable (safety, food safety, GMP, health, environmental, quality and responsible care requirements).
What are we looking for in the Ideal candidate?
- Engineering Degree Required. BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years relevant maintenance/engineering experience in a process industry such as petrochemical plant, chemical plant, or refinery required.
- Minimum of 10 years turbomachinery experience preferred.
- Must have ability to obtain a TWIC card.
- SAP or similar CMMS experience preferred.
- Individuals must be action oriented and have good problem-solving skills to make timely and effective decisions.
- Individuals must be able to adequately plan and prioritize work processes to effectively meet customer expectations and resolve conflicts within a timely manner.
- Individuals must have strong leadership skills and be capable of directing others and informing management on the status of work.
