Job Title: Order Picker / Warehouse Operative

Location: Blarney Business Park, Cork

Hours:

Monday–Thursday: 8:00–16:30
Friday: 8:00–15:30
Breaks: 10:00–10:15 and 13:00–13:30

Role Purpose

To support warehouse operations by accurately picking orders, managing stock, and ensuring efficient movement of goods in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. Reliability and punctuality are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Order Picking – Pick customer orders using handheld scanners with accuracy and speed.
Goods In – Receive deliveries, check quantities, and ensure items are stored correctly.
Goods Out – Prepare and load outgoing orders safely and efficiently.
Loading & Unloading – Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring all pallets are clean and undamaged.
Stock Control – Complete stock takes, cycle counts, and maintain accurate inventory records.
Warehouse Standards – Maintain a clean and safe workspace while following quality and safety procedures.
Team Collaboration – Work closely with colleagues to meet daily targets and maintain a positive working environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
Ability to use handheld scanners and digital picking systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physically fit for lifting, standing, and manual handling.
Forklift licence.

Working Environment

Fast-paced and supportive team atmosphere.
Indoor warehouse work with occasional outdoor loading tasks.
Regular manual handling required.
