Debt Recovery Specialist

Summary:

We are looking for a Debt Recovery Specialist to manage a portfolio of accounts, conduct field visits to negotiate settlements, and liaise with legal advisors to pursue legal action for debt recovery when necessary. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate records of collection activities, collaborate with internal departments to resolve disputes and discrepancies, and continuously improve the debt collection process. The requirements include a minimum of 3 years of field collection experience, preferably in the financial services industry, and legal experience or knowledge related to debt recovery processes.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts and ensuring timely collection of debts
• Conducting field visits to meet with clients and negotiating settlements, as well as liaising with legal advisors to pursue legal action when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities and provide a high level of customer service while adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Collaborating with internal departments to resolve disputes and discrepancies is also an essential part of this role.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve the debt collection process by identifying areas for efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

• 3 years of field collection experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Legal experience or knowledge related to debt recovery processes would also be highly valued.
