The role holder will assist in coordinating, monitoring, and overseeing the operations and maintenance of BEDBs buildings and assets located in Belait and Tutong District. The job holder will contribute to the development and implementation of policies, and help manage contracts and procedures to support the maintenance of assets and facilities in good working condition.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and implementing operation and maintenance schedules, and support best practices in facilities management.
  • Help monitor budgets for maintenance operations and track expenses under supervision.
  • Support in creating and monitoring maintenance schedules for all DARe assets located in Belait and Tutong District.
  • Attend meetings with managers to provide input and assist in determining operational needs.
  • Help plan and coordinate maintenance and operations for DARes buildings and assets in collaboration with relevant DARe departments or sections.
  • Assist in coordinating with staff, tenants, and stakeholders when planning and executing maintenance works.
  • Review incident and complaint reports and support in proposing mitigation actions.
  • Assist in investigating and addressing issues under supervision.
  • Prepare reports for the FMT Manager and Lead on maintenance status.
  • Provide support in evaluating problematic systems or facilities and offer recommendations for necessary installation or repair services.

Minimum requirements:

  • Holds a Higher National Diploma in any technical background; Facilities Management or Operation and Maintenance background is an advantage.
  • Have at least 3 years experience in the Operation and Maintenance / Facilities Management field in the supervisory role.
  • Applicants with investigation / analytical skills in technical problem solving will have an added advantage.
  • Experience and know how using relevant technology and equipment in facilities management and maintenance. Knowledge in AutoCAD is an added advantage.
  • Experience in reporting and budgeting with cost benefit analysis.
  • Working knowledge of Failure Mode Effect and Criticality Analysis.
  • Able to analyse various properties and equipment and detect potential safety hazards.
  • Some knowledge in WHSO or IOSH will be an added advantage,
  • Applicants residing in Belait / Tutong District is an advantage.
