Pipe Fabricator

Wage for night shift pipe fabricators-

£20.07 per hour

40 hour week Monday to Thursday 7.30pm to 6am

10 hours overtime available on Fridays at time and a half.

Duties for a pipe fabricator:

Pipe fabricator-to fit together pre cut and bevelled pipe ready for the welders. The pipe varies in size but mainly for the water industry so usually large bore.

- Assemble and fabricate metal pipe according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and sketches to determine assembly procedures
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete fabrication tasks
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet required standards
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes

Skills but not limited for a pipe fabricator:

- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot assembly issues

Note: Prior experience in fabrication of pipe is required.
