About the job DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL SOLUTION
The Director of Clinical Solutions possesses a blended role of account management, sales/design support, and operational support. The Director of Clinical Solutions serves as the primary subject matter expert for the company within the area of expertise and assures us the appropriate solutions align with our client needs. The Director of Clinical Solutions drives the definition of our clinical solutions and manages the clinical solutions team across all markets. This role will also work hand in hand with sales and operations to both market and deploy these solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Articulating the business and technical value of our solutions and products to senior managers and technical decision makers.
- Work as a team with our Director of Managed Services to package our clinical offerings within ongoing service agreements to establish value within our client base.
- Position our technical solutions in competitive scenarios to achieve success.
- Own and drive our clinical solution strategy and design for the company.
- Work as a team with our Pre-Construction and Engineering teams to develop competitive cost cases for complex opportunities which will meet the customer's requirements.
- Facilitate and coordinate regular technology refresh sessions for our Sales, Pre-construction, and Engineering staff to insure our employees maintain the appropriate solutions expertise for achieving success.
- Be available to provide support to sales, operational, and service staff in time of need.
- Maintain expertise on the latest clinical solutions that Beacon provides.
- Understand and prescribe the best fit solutions to a diverse set of healthcare customers.
- Conduct presentations to current/potential customers that showcase Beacons solutions including Rauland Enterprise, real time locating, mobility and other clinical solutions within our line card.
- Create long-term relationships with our customers and clinical leaders within our client organizations.
- Drive solutions training to our Clinical Applications Specialist staff and Account Managers.
- Identify and assist with the marketing of new clinical initiatives to our customer base.
- Ability to understand data and informatics collected through our offerings and drive clinical outcomes for our customers.
- Build and manage the Clinical Teams in all regions.
- Ensure that all Clinical Teams are trained and can both support sales efforts as well as project implementation efforts.
- Work with the Management Team and other Directors to drive profitability and growth.
The Director of Clinical Solutions will be accountable to the VP of Sales and Marketing. Secondary accountability will be to the VP of Operations.
Job Qualifications:
- This is partly a client facing job role. The Director will spend 50% to 60% of their time in face-to-face discussions with our clients.
- The Director of Clinical Solutions must possess a minimum of 10 years of industry specific experience within the area of solutions expertise.
- Must be capable of engaging in technical discussions in effort to achieve the best technical solutions for our customers, both internally and externally.
- Must be willing to participate in continuing education for your area of expertise for continuing industry specific education.
- Must have Clinical experience such as an RN.
- LEAN Healthcare training is desired.
- Data and informatics background is desired.
Nurse Call Specific Qualifications:
- Must be able to perform pre-construction needs assessments to determine the best solution within our product line.
- Must be able to understand and assist with creating workflow solutions for RTLS and Nurse Call.
Travel:
It is expected that this position will require a moderate amount (25% 35%) of travel, as needed.

- Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable, well-organized.
- Superior customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in the use of personal computers including such programs as MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing, and implementing skills which allow the successful completion of a project by a specific due date.
- Valid and current drivers license
Essential Functions:
- Requires prolonged sitting, standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Requires manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination for data input.
- Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Must maintain a clear background check to satisfy customer jobsite badging requirements.
- Must be willing to submit to all vaccinations and screening tests required for customer jobsite badging protocol.
- Although most work is performed inside, occasional outside activities are subject to seasonal temperature fluctuations.
- Reaching, grasping, and carrying activities are also required including the ability to navigate a construction jobsite.
- Maintain a clear drug and alcohol screening protocol.
