Beachside Vacation Rentals manages a growing portfolio of over 300 short-term rental properties across Florida’s Space Coast. Our focus is operational consistency, property performance, and delivering a reliable experience for both guests and owners.


Position Summary

We are hiring a Maintenance and Housekeeping Coordinator to oversee and manage maintenance operations and support housekeeping scheduling across the portfolio.

This is a remote role based in Mexico City supporting field teams in Florida. The position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can prioritize, dispatch, and manage a high volume of tasks simultaneously while maintaining clear communication and accountability.

This is not an entry-level role. Candidates must have direct industry experience and a working knowledge of residential maintenance systems.


Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Coordination (Primary Focus)

  • Receive, triage, and prioritize all incoming maintenance requests

  • Dispatch vendors and internal technicians based on urgency, scope, and location

  • Ensure all work orders are clearly defined with detailed notes, photos, and expectations

  • Track all open tasks through completion and confirm work has been completed to standard

  • Follow up on incomplete, delayed, or recurring issues

  • Escalate critical or guest-impacting issues immediately

Vendor Management

  • Coordinate with multiple vendors and service providers daily

  • Schedule and confirm appointments, access, and timelines

  • Hold vendors accountable to timelines and quality expectations

Housekeeping Coordination (Scheduling & Oversight)

  • Schedule cleaners for all turnovers, same-day turns, and priority cleans

  • Monitor Breezeway to ensure all cleans are completed on time and to standard

  • Identify delays or missed cleans early and take immediate action to resolve

  • Coordinate adjustments to coverage as needed to maintain readiness for arrivals

Systems & Task Management

  • Create, update, and manage tasks within property management and operations systems (Breezeway, Guesty, or similar)

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all work performed

Communication & Coordination

  • Serve as a central point of coordination between maintenance, housekeeping, and guest experience teams

  • Provide clear, timely updates on task status, delays, and resolutions


Required Qualifications

  • Prior experience in vacation rentals, property management, or hospitality operations (required)

  • Working knowledge of residential general maintenance systems, including:
    • HVAC systems and thermostats

    • Basic electrical (outlets, breakers, lighting issues)

    • Plumbing fundamentals (drains, leaks, water heaters)

    • Appliances and common household systems

  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple active work orders simultaneously

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • High attention to detail and follow-through

  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with task management systems and PMS platforms (Breezeway, Guesty, or similar preferred)

  • Fluent in English (required) and Spanish
