IT Business Analyst - (26000MGC)

Project Description:

The Business Analyst is responsible for creating and updating the documentation related to business processes at the IT department level and the alignment of the team with the standards / tools and methods, regulations and good practices used in the Client's group. Actively participates in the creation and update of process documentation, business specifications, test cases, test plans and test scenarios according to the requirements of internal customers in the company.

Performs business analysis to define configuration requirements and ensures the maintenance of proper supporting documentation for all configuration activities. Performs root cause analysis on issues and support the resolution.

Works closely with the IT team to define the current/target functional and application solutions for the IT systems, ensuring consistency and the quality indicators defined by the IT architect at the level of process implementation in the IT system.

Specifically, you will be required to:

• Gather, analyze, and refine business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and IT solutions.
• Analyze impacts, risks, and integration requirements across multiple systems.Act as the bridge between Business, Product Owners, Developers, QA, Architects, and Operations teams.
• Design and document data flows, interfaces, APIs, and integration requirements.
• Perform impact analysis, data validation, and troubleshooting using SQL and system analysis techniques.
• Support SIT, UAT, production releases, and change management activities.
• Coordinate project activities and monitor deliverables, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
• Maintain project documentation, procedures, training materials, and functional specifications.

Profile

• 2+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Functional Analyst, Tester, or similar role.
• Experience in Insurance, Bancassurance, Banking, or Financial Services.
• Strong experience in business process modeling and requirements analysis.
• Experience with Visio, BPMN, or similar process modeling tools.
• Good knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC.Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Data Mapping and Data Flow Analysis between systems.
• SQL and database analysis (data validation, impact analysis, troubleshooting).
• API and Integration Analysis (REST, SOAP, Swagger/OpenAPI).
• Experience documenting system interfaces and application integrations.
• Knowledge of system-to-system communications, file transfers, and messaging services.
• Ability to analyze end-to-end business and technical processes across multiple applications.Understanding of JSON, XML, CSV formats.

Nice to Have

• Insurance core systems or banking platforms experience.
• Cloud technologies or microservices architecture.
• Jira, Confluence.
• Postman or API testing tools.
• Project management knowledge (Agile, PMI, PRINCE2).
