Job Openings UK Enterprise Platform Engineer — Platform Enterprise Architect

About the job UK Enterprise Platform Engineer — Platform Enterprise Architect

Role Overview

The Enterprise Platform Architect will lead the technical evolution of the Multi-Agent Architecture (MAA) initiative. This role bridges the legacy AI Booster (AIB) 2.0 platform and the new greenfield, GCP-native engine, "Velora." The successful candidate will design an enterprise-scale orchestration layer for autonomous agents, standardized data retrieval capabilities, and advanced security frameworks.

Responsibilities

1. Architecture Strategy & Design
  • Design and maintain the High-Level Design (HLD) for the converged MAA platform, integrating predictive AI and agentic AI capabilities.
  • Define the transition roadmap from the isolated greenfield Velora infrastructure to a unified, enterprise-grade production platform.
  • Architect the Agent Managed Runtime, including orchestration, observability, and evaluation capabilities at enterprise scale.
2. Platform Enablement & Governance
  • Curate and maintain Golden Templates for GCP services, including ADK, Agent Engine A2A, One MCP, A2UI, Anti Gravity, agentic platforms, and security and governance services.
  • Establish and govern a centralized Agent and Tool Registry to enable cross-domain discovery and reuse of agentic assets.
  • Define standardized FinOps tracking and telemetry models for all agentic use cases.
3. Security & Compliance
  • Apply the Agentic AI Security Standard, including memory validation, Non-Human Identity (NHI) management, and reasoning controls (MR1–MR23).
  • Implement Model Armor, VPC Service Controls, and CMEK.
  • Collaborate with Security and Privacy teams to automate Trust by Design guardrails within CI/CD pipelines.

Technical Requirements

Category/Requirement

  • Cloud Platform: Expert knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, particularly Vertex AI, Agent Engine, and Apigee
  • AI/ML: Deep understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and multimodal retrieval architectures
  • Engineering: Strong expertise in Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) and managed CI/CD platforms, including Google Cloud Deploy
  • Security: Experience with AAA frameworks, mTLS for agent-to-agent (A2A) communications, and Responsible AI (RAI) services

Strategic Impact

This role enables the organization's transition from a centrally managed execution model to a decentralized, domain-centric empowerment model. The Enterprise Platform Architect will help establish an Adaptive Agentic Platform that enables local teams to rapidly build and deliver high-value use cases while minimizing legacy technical debt and maximizing delivery velocity.
