As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging business strategy and technology delivery. You will be responsible for leading complex requirement gathering initiatives, facilitating workshops with senior business stakeholders, and driving alignment across multiple teams and departments. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities, exceptional facilitation skills, and extensive experience translating ambiguous business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
Required
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in complex enterprise environments
- Proven track record of leading business discovery sessions, workshops, and requirements elicitation activities involving multiple stakeholders with diverse and often conflicting objectives
- Strong expertise in requirements gathering techniques, including:
- Interviews
- Workshops and facilitated sessions
- Design Thinking
- Process mining and process mapping
- Root Cause Analysis
- Event Storming
- Gap Analysis
- Impact Analysis
- Exceptional facilitation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to control discussions, challenge assumptions, drive decisions, and keep participants focused on meeting objectives
- Ability to identify hidden requirements, uncover underlying business problems, and separate symptoms from root causes
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to transform complex business challenges into structured functional requirements
- Experience working with business leaders, product owners, architects, and delivery teams
- Advanced knowledge of business process modeling techniques
- Strong documentation skills, including Business Requirements Documents, Functional Specifications, and Process Flows
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Insurance or financial services experience is highly desirable
- Good English skills

Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements discovery and business analysis activities for complex business initiatives and system implementations
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions with business stakeholders, ensuring productive discussions and clear outcomes
- Drive stakeholder alignment by identifying conflicting requirements, clarifying expectations, and facilitating decision-making processes
- Elicit, analyze, challenge, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements
- Apply advanced business analysis techniques to identify business needs, opportunities, risks, dependencies, and process improvement initiatives
- Translate ambiguous business requests into clear, structured, and prioritized requirements suitable for delivery teams
- Analyze existing business processes and design future-state processes that improve efficiency, user experience, and operational effectiveness
- Challenge assumptions and proactively identify gaps, inconsistencies, and missing requirements before development begins
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, architects and developers
Must Have
- Demonstrated experience facilitating workshops with 10+ stakeholders and driving discussions towards concrete decisions and documented outcomes
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and extract clear business requirements from incomplete, conflicting, or evolving information
- Strong questioning, interviewing, and active listening skills
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and managing challenging conversations
- Ability to identify the real business problem, not just the requested solution
