The Technical Analyst (TA) acts as a bridge between business and technology, combining strong technical expertise with a solid understanding of business processes, functional flows, and domain components. The role is accountable for one or more applications within a specific domain, ensuring their functional correctness, technical robustness, performance, and continuous evolution, while translating business needs into effective technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business & Functional Understanding
    • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of business processes, domain concepts, and functional components related to supported applications
    • Support Business Analysts and stakeholders in analyzing requirements and identifying system impacts
    • Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications
    • Proactively challenge and optimize requirements with scalable solutions
  • Technical Analysis & Solution Design
    • Design and validate technical solutions, interfaces, and integrations
    • Apply standard application and architectural solutions
    • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and performance standards
    • Contribute to application evolution roadmaps
  • Application Ownership
    • Act as Application Expert for assigned applications
    • Ensure functionality, performance, stability, and maintainability
    • Maintain deep understanding of architectures, data flows, and dependencies
  • Delivery & Collaboration
    • Support design, development, testing, and deployment activities
    • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, QA, and UI/UX teams
    • Contribute to end-to-end estimations, risk assessment, and planning
  • Production Support
    • Support production incidents and instability
    • Lead investigations, war rooms, and root cause analysis
    • Coordinate stakeholders and manage escalations
    • Continuous Improvement
    • Monitor technology trends and best practices
    • Propose improvements to systems, processes, and performance


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years experience in software development or technical analysis
  • Experience with databases and SQL
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Banking or financial services experience is a plus
  • Fluent in English
