About the job Asset Manager

You will be responsible for ensuring the functioning product within ITG for the HR business, ensuring its continuity and quality and that they can be maintained and upgraded. 

As an Asset Manager, your rich and varied activities on your application perimeter will allow you to: 

  • Be the privileged entry point for the relevant perimeter of functional applications and thus contribute to good relations with service providers and internal customers while ensuring quality functional and technical assistance to the business 
  • Take charge of small development projects as well as project contributions within the scope concerned, ensuring that you meet all the defined requirements and respecting the triptych of quality, cost and deadlines. 
  • Acceptance and production of solutions and ensure the integration of evolutions 
  • Report and alert the hierarchy on the continuity of service, deadlines and possible risks 
  • Respect and enforce the norms and standards in force concerning engineering, architecture and safety rules 
  • Propose optimizations and efficiency gains 
  • Work on the transformation of our IS.

The asset manager may be involved in all or part of the following activities:

Project management for activity monitoring and small changes :

  • Follow-up of business requests and management of a backlog of changes
  • Prioritization of daily work (incidents, small changes, support) according to the capabilities of the  team
  • Budget monitoring and planning of development projects.
  • Ensure that the requirements are consistent with the needs and that the technology is feasible.

Guarantees the proper functioning of applications and that they can be maintained and upgraded :

  • Responds to incidents and ad hoc requests for changes by business line, and ensures they are implemented in a manner that is consistent with the legacy applications
  • Provide quality support to the business line
  • Manage new version of your scope
  • Ensures data consistency and optimization
  • Guarantees the consistency of the released version (up-to-date documentation, established configuration management, completion of all tests, identification, and management of the risks)
  • Ensures that the objectives of the action plan for his/her scope are achieved
  • Complies with and ensures the application of current norms and and standards engineering rules, architecture rules, safety standards
  • Applies the guidelines of the obsolescence management plan and guarantees that all components are supported by suppliers
  • Check the quality of the work and that it complies with the overall application plans
  • Keep up to date the application documentation.

Reports and alerts management for his/her scope of applications:

  • Reports and alerts on service continuity, deadlines, budget
  • Reports and alerts in relation to resources

Propose method to increase optimizations and efficiency:

  • Analyzes incidents and proposes preventive action plans for improvement
  • Makes proposals and oversees or carries out work, if necessary, to simplify the applications and automate tasks
  • Helps to establish roadmaps for his/her scope of applications

Deploys the continuity of service action plan

  • Carries out the stress testing campaigns provided for in the service continuity plan in order to determine the application behavior of the systems that process the target volumes
  • Produces a summary of stress testing campaigns and propose technical recommendations, while maintaining consistency with the legacy applications
  • Carries out optimization work by drawing on the service continuity plan

Identifies best practices and shares them within the entity and within the group
