Senior Full Stack Java Developer (Germany Team)

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join our international development team that delivers first class applications for our businesses and clients.

Your role is to develop software applications according to the business needs being involved in all phases of SDLC based on Agile framework.

Way of work: hybrid 50% office (in Bucharest/Brasov) - 50% remote

Key responsibilities:

• Plan, develop and implement projects or parts of large-scale projects as part of the development team
• Responsible of solving complex problems and exposed to a variety of challenges, from technical solutions and design to improving service delivery from an end-to-end perspective
• Understand and evaluate complex data models
• Develop solutions to improve performance and scalability of systems
• Implement the company development guidelines and processes and come with improvement suggestions
• Is responsible for analysis / evaluation / implementation of the technical solution(s) defined for his allocated project or within the support zone
• Acts as a mentor and technical coordinator, guiding the development team during the software development life cycle
• Deliver scalable end‑to‑end solutions by seamlessly integrating front-end user experience with robust backend systems.

What we are looking for:

Experience: minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Java development with a mix of Front and Backend development.

The job involves 70% Frontend and 30% Backend tasks.

Practical knowledge of:

• Advanced technical knowledge in Angular
• Practical technical knowledge in Spring Boot, Spring Data/JPA
• Practical knowledge in at least three areas from the list below:

• REST / WS

• HTML5 + CSS3 / JavaScript / JQuery

• Linux / JBoss

• PostgreSQL

• Daily use of one of the following tools:

• IDE: Eclipse / NetBeans / InteliJ

• Repository: SVN / Git / Mercurial

• Build: Hudson / Jenkins / Maven

• Test: JUnit / Teamcity / Fitnesse

• Web Services using WCF (SOAP) and Web APIs (REST)
• Other Skills: SQL, XML, JSON, Domain Driven Design

• IBM Cloud knowledge, Postgres, Kafka/RabbitMQ, vertical slice architecture knowledge – would be a plus
