SAP MM-Ariba Consultant - 6415

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP MM-Ariba Consultant with strong expertise across the SAP Ariba upstream suite and Ariba Network integration with S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end implementations focused on Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP), Guided Sourcing, Contracts, Ariba Supplier Risk and Business Network (Order Collaboration), working closely with procurement and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable, integrated source-to-pay solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SAP Ariba implementations, rollouts and support projects with end-to-end responsibility on the upstream perimeter and Business Network
• Gather, analyse and translate procurement business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs
• Configure, customize and deploy the following Ariba modules:
  • SLP (Supplier Lifecycle & Performance): architectural analysis and design, internal/external supplier requests, supplier request authorization workflows, supplier registration, internal and modular registration questionnaires (up to 10), qualification process and qualification questionnaires, miscellaneous processes (231, KYS, ), Ariba SLP–SAP integration
  • Sourcing: Sourcing migration and Guided Sourcing setup
  • Contracts: architectural analysis and design, contract requests, contract templates (up to 10), clause library management, authorization workflows, digital signature (DocuSign), Ariba Contract–SAP integration for contract master data generation
  • Business Network – Order Collaboration: purchase order issuance toward Ariba, order confirmation configuration, advance shipping notice (ASN), service POs, Service Entry Sheet (SES), goods receipt publication
  • Ariba Supplier Risk: risk category and profile configuration, monitoring setup
• Drive end-to-end integration with SAP S/4HANA (MM/Procurement) and coordinate with BTP-based extensions (RPA/AI automations, ATI, performance and reporting layers)
• Design and configure approval workflows, questionnaires and master data flows between Ariba and S/4HANA
• Conduct workshops with business users and lead solution design, fit-gap analysis and process standardization
• Support data migration, cutover planning, UAT, go-live and hypercare activities
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide functional support across the Ariba landscape
• Produce functional documentation, configuration guides, test scripts and training materials
• Promote best practices, compliance and process governance across the source-to-contract and order collaboration streams

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in SAP procurement consulting, with significant hands-on delivery on SAP Ariba
• Proven hands-on configuration experience on the Ariba upstream suite: SLP, Guided Sourcing and Contracts
• Demonstrated experience with Ariba Business Network – Order Collaboration (PO, order confirmation, ASN, SES, GR)
• Working knowledge of Ariba Supplier Risk (risk profiles, categories, monitoring)
• Solid experience with Ariba S/4HANA integration (CIG / standard integration scenarios, master data and document flows)
• Good understanding of the underlying S/4HANA MM processes (purchase requisition, PO, contracts, goods receipt, invoice verification) to ensure end-to-end consistency
• Experience configuring questionnaires, workflows and approval rules in SLP and Contracts
• Experience integrating digital signature solutions (DocuSign) with Ariba Contracts
• Hands-on experience in writing Functional Specifications, UAT, and business user support
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Good to Have:

• Experience with SAP BTP scenarios complementing Ariba: subcontracting, RPA/AI automations, ATI, performance monitoring, reporting frameworks
• Exposure to Ariba downstream (Buying, Invoicing) or SAP SRM legacy migrations
• Knowledge of Fiori apps and S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement innovations
• Experience in global template rollouts and multi-country deployments
• Familiarity with compliance-driven procurement processes (e.g. 231, KYS)

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, IT or related field
• SAP Ariba certification (SLP, Sourcing, Contracts or Supplier Risk) preferred
