Oracle DBA

Activities

• Install and manage Oracle databases on Linux, AIX and Windows, physical and virtual servers;

• Configure prerequisites on databases for running applications;

• Configure and test DR solutions (Data Guard);

• Apply security and improvement patches and fixes;

• Upgrade deprecated/obsolete databases;

• Implement requirements approved in the Change management flows.

• Update technical documentation

Optional

• Manage and improve monitoring solutions (Enterprise Manager);

Requirements:

Technical

• Minimum 3 years experience in similar management activities;
• Good knowledge of Oracle databases;
• Optional, experience with Exadata.

Studies

• Bachelor degree in IT engineering.

Other requirements

• Good knowledge of English language spoken and written;
• Ability for concentrate under pressure;
• Client oriented;
• Team work and collaboration;
• Availability to intervene outside business hours in case of incidents, scheduled works, etc.
