About the job Support Analyst FPR - (25000BN8)

The main mission of the Financing department is to support equity derivatives and fixed income trading desks on their market activities by offering technology & operational expertise to support the development initiated by these businesses. The applications which you will oversee cover various areas of the financing chain: counterparty risk management, collateral assets optimization, prime brokerage (synthetic and cash) back office operations.

Specifically, you will be required to:

Daily support tasks (90%):

· Technical and functional support of the production, features and data flow explanations;

  • Monitoring and request / Incident management, crisis management if needed;
  • Support and coordinate L2/L3 activities, work closely with L1/L2/L3 world wide teams to ensure efficient processes, pick-up calls on a shared hotline, user onboarding and offboarding
  • Knowledge transfer for new joiners and users;
  • Drive innovation and contribute with new ideas for the existing architecture, services and processes;
  • Maintain a close relationship with the international team and ensure the delivery of high quality of production;

· Supervise application lifecycle and manage application events such as audit, disaster recovery events

Release management (5%):

· Study release impacts on production;

  • Install applicative packages coming from development team on pre-pre-production environment;

· Install new version in production and ensure post deployment checks.

Continuous improvement (5%):

· Reach for a full automation of manual tasks, delivery process and monitoring

Profile

  • Finance functional knowledge or technical background in SQL and/or Unix;

    • At least 2-3 years experience in support;
    • Good command of English, both written and spoken. French would be a plus.
    • Good analytical skills and ability to summarize key messages;
    • Good communication skills, adaptability and self control;
    • Client-driven approach & service oriented;

    · High autonomy and ability to work in a stressful environment, rigor, cooperation and team spirit.


Schedule: 9.00-20.30 (2 shifts: 09.00-17.00; 12.30-20.30, on rotation) and 1/2 day in weekend/month to cover associated week-end activities & bank holidays - on rotation RO + PAR)
