MLOps Engineer - AI@SC

Responsibilities

The MLOps Engineer is mainly Python Developer and he/she will deal with the industrialization of the models made for POC named Predict on the Google Vertex AI platform.

Predict

• Estimate how long it takes to deliver the cars to the customers, based on the road segments and their type, also depending on the information sent to the distribution systems (Stefi) and other external information (distances between delivery centers)
• Predictions must be in less than 3 seconds

Also, in second phase, for other projects the ML Engineer will have Data Science tasks:

• Study and transform data science prototypes
• Research and implement appropriate ML algorithms and Renault tools
• Develop machine learning applications according to requirements
• Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods
• Run machine learning tests and experiments
• Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results
• Train and retrain systems when necessary
• Extend existing ML libraries and frameworks

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture
• Deep knowledge or experience with:
• Google Python SDK for Vertex
• Model Deployment & Lifecycle
• Design Principles in Machine Learning
• Experience with ML Ops tooling
• Experience with Docker
• SDK python Google AIPlatform
• GCP Big Query
• git, gitlab
• Good skills for data processing with pandas
• Familiarity with:
• Google Vertex AI
• FastAPI
• Kubernetes
• Jupyter Notebook
• xgboost
• scikit-learn
• sql
• Ability to work in a team
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
• Very good level of English, French is plus
