AS400 Developer with RPG

AS400 Analyst developer RPG/CL

Are you interested to join a growing team to work as an AS400 DEVELOPER?

You will be responsible for estimating, defining and developing features for new software or existing solutions on AS400 platform. You will be involved in a product development lifecycle based on Agile or Waterfall methodologies.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and implement applications using RPG and CL languages on the AS/400 platform.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
• Maintain and optimize existing applications to ensure their performance, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of software solutions and improve development processes.
• Resolve technical issues and provide user support, ensuring that all problems are promptly and efficiently addressed.
• Document processes, changes made to applications and implemented technical solutions.
• Actively participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to identify and implement innovative solutions.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in AS400 platform and projects developments using RPG/CL (Nice to have: ADELIA Studio)

• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases, especially DB2 for AS400

• Experience with ILE RPG and ILE CL, as well as modular development and code reuse.

• Problem-solving with the ability to handle technical issues.

• You show ability to encourage communication and collaboration between team members in order to meet the objectives, ability to integrate in a local team as well as in a remote team

• You have an attention to detail and very good analytical skills

• You speak English (oral and written) fluently - mandatory
