About the job Services Transversal Solution Architect (TSA)
Main missions:
- Define the cross-functional architecture of the IT transformation initiatives in collaboration with product teams and other architects:
- Lead architecture definition workshops (gather business needs and processes)
- Identify data sources and interfaces
- Identify macro-impacts on existing products and products to be developed
- Promote innovation opportunities provided by technological breakthroughs and the digitalization of the company
- Define the target architecture and the steps to achieve it
- Formalize the chosen architecture within the architecture repository
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and Solution Architects to define IT transformation plans and manage the portfolio of studies
- Participate in defining the enterprise business information models and their application in projects
- Contribute to the architecture community of Renault Group:
- Build up the mapping repository
- Continuously improve architecture principles and guidelines
- Define and participate in the implementation of tools to industrialize architecture activities
- Participate in architecture governance bodies and aid in project decision- making with an architectural perspective
- Deliverables:
- Architecture guidelines
- General Architecture Specification within the scope of projects
- Updated application mapping
Daily Team Activities:
- Participation in agile ceremonies within the architecture squad is expected.
- Peer meetings are attended to share best practices and address challenges in ongoing studies in a supportive manner.
- Team meetings within the chapter are conducted.
- In an agile organizational context, collaboration with various projects, IT, and/or business teams is required, leveraging architectural expertise. Depending on the studies, interaction with partners in Renault and/or subsidiaries, especially internationally, may occur.
Profile Requirements
- A Masters degree with a specialization in IT and over 10 years of experience in architecture are required for effective performance in this role.
- Dual expertise in Business and IT, ideally within industry sectors such as engineering, manufacturing, or logistics, is essential.
- Experience in international environments and matrix organizations is necessary.
Skills and Knowledge
- Knowledge of all components of Enterprise Architecture
- A strong understanding of Cloud, Data, and interoperability issues is necessary.
- Proven experience in SAP implementations and a solid grasp of key SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD) are required.
- Expertise in Joint Venture Accounting is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in architecture modeling techniques is expected.
- The ability to understand both long-term and short-term perspectives of transformations is necessary.
- Strong communication skills are required to explain and justify architectural choices beyond technical considerations.
- A pragmatic approach is valued, with a focus on practical solutions rather than technology for its own sake.
- The ability to work effectively in an agile mode is essential.
- Demonstrated capacity for teamwork is required.
- Fluency in English and French is necessary.
- Performance in this role is characterized by attentiveness and the ability to challenge existing practices constructively, contributing to continuous improvement through experience and perspective.
