Role Purpose
The Medior Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the operational support, administration, and stability of the Salesforce platform. The role focuses on supporting complex business processes, ensuring system reliability in production, and resolving incidents that impact core business operations.
The position requires a certified Salesforce professional with 2+ years of experience in administration and support activities, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Accountabilities
Platform Support
- Provide Support for Salesforce-related incidents and service requests
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues affecting business-critical processes
- Ensure high availability and stability of the Salesforce production environment
- Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
Salesforce Administration
- Configure and maintain Salesforce features including:
- Objects, fields, record types, page layouts
- Validation rules, flows, workflow rules
- Profiles, permission sets, roles, and sharing settings
- Support product catalogs, price books, and related configurations
- Assist with sandbox testing, deployments, and release validation
Business Process Support
- Support and understand end-to-end, cross-functional business processes
- Translate business requirements and issues into Salesforce solutions
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and system improvements
Integration & Data Management
- Support and monitor Salesforce integrations and web services
- Assist with data quality management, imports, exports, and corrections
- Collaborate with development teams on integration-related issues
Collaboration & Documentation
- Act as a point of contact between business users, IT teams, and vendors
- Maintain system documentation, support procedures, and knowledge articles
- Ensure compliance with internal governance and best practices
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Salesforce Administrator Certification – mandatory
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce core functionality (Sales Cloud; Service Cloud is a plus)
- Proven experience supporting complex Salesforce implementations
- Experience working in a production support environment
- Solid understanding of user access, security, and data models
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
Preferred / Additional Qualifications
- Additional Salesforce certifications (Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Consultant certifications)
- Basic to intermediate Apex knowledge (ability to read, understand, and debug code)
- Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP, middleware platforms)
- Exposure to product and pricing models, CPQ, or contract management
- Familiarity with ITSM processes and tools (e.g. Jira, ServiceNow)
- Experience working under SLAs and operational KPIs
