Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the culinary team to create and update the dessert menu, ensuring a balance of flavors and innovative presentations.
  • Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Pastry Chef to adapt local recipes.
  • Support marketing events and trade shows.
  • Conduct vocational training courses.
  • Provide close assistance and professional consulting during customer visits.
  • Lead pastry demonstrations for customers.
  • Hygiene & Safety: Ensure all kitchen operations comply with local health and safety regulations.
  • Cost Management: Monitor inventory levels, manage costs, and minimize waste.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Pastry Chef, with at least 2 years focused on chocolate work.
  • Education: Formal culinary training or relevant certification in pastry arts.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in chocolate tempering, molding, and sculpture.
    • Proficiency in creating a wide range of pastries and desserts.
    • Strong understanding of flavor profiles and food pairings.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
