Senior Full Stack Developer (.NET, Razor)

A US-based SaaS company runs an employee time clock software that simplifies employee scheduling, time tracking, and payroll, making total workforce management easy and efficient.

Their company is scaling and growing infrastructure and coding-wise, and they are looking for a Senior .NET Developer who can join their team full-time.

In this role, you will have a direct impact on the product and will help tackle scaling challenges. You will also play an essential role in the ongoing migration from ASP.NET to ASP.NET Core and in the rollout of a new UI using Tailwind CSS. The company is also continuing to enhance its GPS and geofencing capabilities.

This role is for someone who can own large parts of an actively used software product and contribute ideas.

Main Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Product Lead to prioritize backlog and bug fixes, ensuring an efficient workflow.
• Conduct code reviews to uphold high standards of code quality.
• Lead the migration from ASP.NET to ASP.NET Core.
• Take ownership of new feature development for the platform.
• Work on the new UI rollout using Tailwind CSS.
• Contribute to enhancing GPS and geofencing capabilities.

Main Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a full-stack software developer.
• Proficiency in .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC, Razor, HTML, CSS, jQuery.
• Strong SQL skills and/or experience with SQL Server.
• Solid experience with Entity Framework.
• Fluent in English, both speaking and writing.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong independence and proactiveness.
• Availability to work in a block of 8 continuous hours, aligned with US hours (CDT).
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced, scrappy environment where you own the development work from requirements to release.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Vue.js or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
