Currently, the team is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with a proven track record of backend engineering excellence who also has a passion for and experience in GenAI and Agentic flows. The ideal candidate is passionate about staying up-to-date with AI advancements, deeply knowledgeable about AI tools, and excited to push boundaries in how LLMs and autonomous agents can transform hiring processes.

Your main focus will be around core backend architecture & APIs,and AI/LLM (R&D, agents, advanced LLM workflows, evals).

What Youll Do:

  1. Architect & Scale:
    • Own and evolve their backend systems (Node.js/TypeScript or Python) in a serverless AWS environment (Lambda, API Gateway).

    • Ensure high performance, reliability, and security as they scale to thousands of businesses and candidates.

  2. GenAI & LLM Solutions:
    • Build LLM-based features, agentic flows, and advanced prompting flows with frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI, LangSmith.

    • Integrate and tune popular LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic/Claude, O1, O3-mini, etc.).

    • Experiment with multi-step agent orchestration and in-depth prompt engineering techniques.

    • Implement best-of-class evals on all LLM flows

  3. Vector Embeddings & Context Handling:
    • Incorporate Pinecone (or similar) to handle vector search, memory retrieval, and context-aware agent workflows.

    • Optimize data pipelines for low-latency, high-throughput AI feature usage.

  4. Technical Leadership & Mentorship:
    • Set architectural guidelines, review code, and mentor a globally distributed team.

    • Champion engineering best practices (CI/CD, TDD, DevOps) and AI/LLM R&D approaches.

  5. Continuous Innovation:
    • Stay ahead of AI advancements (agent-based frameworks, new LLM releases, advanced prompt strategies).

    • Propose and own experiments move quickly from proof-of-concept to production-grade.


What the Company is Looking For

  • Senior-Level Experience:
    8+ years (preferably 10+) building & scaling backend systems. Youve led or architected mission-critical services in production.

  • Proven AI/LLM Background:
    Experience shipping real LLM-based products or agentic flows. Familiarity with popular AI libraries (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, Pinecone, etc.). You follow new models (Claude, o1, o3-mini, etc.) and advanced prompting strategies.

  • Backend & DevOps Mastery:
    Strong Node.js/TypeScript or Python; deep AWS knowledge (serverless architectures, CI/CD pipelines, logging, security). Able to diagnose complex performance issues.

  • R&D Mindset:
    You love experimenting. Youre prepared to spend up to half your time on LLM-based research and prototyping, swiftly moving successful POCs into stable, scalable production code.

  • Communication & Leadership:
    Clear written/spoken English. Proven ability to guide peers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and articulate complex AI ideas simply.
