Senior FS (React+Nest) Developer

Our client is an ambitious, early-stage tech company founded by a seasoned entrepreneur and backed by a proven business model. They are currently building a next-generation SaaS platform that harnesses the power of GPT-4 to automate social media engagement and sales workflows for e-commerce brands, coaches, and content creators.

After successfully validating the product through a no-code MVP, the company is now transitioning to a fully scalable, self-serve SaaS model. The focus is on streamlining user interactions across platforms like Instagram and Facebook, including automated DMs, smart commenting, and integrations with tools like Shopify.

They're now looking to hire 2 Senior Full-Stack Developers, one with a frontend focus and another with a backend focus, to bring this MVP to life. You'll join at the earliest stage of product development and work directly with the founder and a fractional CTO to build the first version of the platform that will eventually scale to millions of users.

Responsibilities:

• Own feature development end-to-end, from architecture to implementation
• Collaborate with a UI/UX designer and product founder on implementation
• Integrate APIs (initially Shopify & Klaviyo) and data pipelines for analytics
• Ensure backend scalability and front-end performance
• Participate in daily standups and weekly planning in Slack/Notion
• Continuously improve the system based on customer feedback

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development
• Deep knowledge of TypeScript across the stack
• Strong experience building and scaling SaaS platforms
• Solid foundation in React.js/Next.js and Nest.js
• Proficient in modern UI/UX best practices with tools like Tailwind CSS
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and database schema design
• Experience with CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and infrastructure as code using AWS CDK
• Familiarity with AWS services and event-driven systems (e.g., SQS, SNS)
• Comfortable using AI-powered development tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor
• Excellent communication skills - you'll work directly with the founder
• Self-starter with strong ownership mindset
• Full overlap required with 10 am-6 pm PST
