Senior Full Stack Developer (Angular\Node)

Our client is a fast-growing, innovative start-up in the telemedicine and HR benefits administration space. They offer a cutting-edge SaaS platform that allows insurance brokers to build and sell telemedicine products, including bundled offerings with prescription medications. Their AI-powered platform also helps employers and their employees navigate and select the best insurance plans based on their individual needs.

They are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong Frontend skills in Angular to play a key role in enhancing the platform by integrating insurance providers, developing employee benefits workflows, and contributing to AI-powered features, such as a chatbot that recommends the best insurance plans.


Main Responsibilities:

• Full-stack implementation of new features, with a focus on front-end development.

• Creation of integrations with insurance providers and external services.

• Working with AI models, particularly for features like chatbots that recommend the best insurance plans for employees.

• Creation of microservices to support scalable and efficient platform architecture.

• Developing frontend UI from wireframes using a design system, ensuring a seamless user experience.

• Collaborating closely with the Tech lead, Designer, and QA team to ensure high-quality deliveries.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 57 years of professional experience as a full-stack developer.

• Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong experience with Angular 18+ (with TypeScript).

  • Proficiency in Bootstrap 5, HTML/CSS for building responsive user interfaces based on Figma wireframes from our UI/UX designer.

  • Expertise with Node.js and NestJS for backend REST API development.

  • Experience with unit testing using Jasmine.

  • Understanding of a microservice architecture and how to work with it.

  • Familiarity with Sequelize using PostgreSQL for database operations.

  • Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment with tools like JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, Webstorm, Grunt, and NPM.

  • Fluent in English for effective communication over Slack and Zoom.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and able to adapt to fluid requirements.

• Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience deploying code to Docker, Kubernetes, and/or AWS Lambda containerization and cloud infrastructure.

  • Familiarity with AI tools like Anthropic, LanceDB Vector Database, and AWS Bedrock.

  • Understanding of OAuth/JWT for secure authentication.

  • Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure.

  • Fluency in Spanish.
